REIMAGINE 2021 is a 6-month programme designed for Social Service Agencies (SSAs) to develop their Social Enterprise (SE) initiatives without the need to spin off a separate business entity and for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to incorporate social impact strategically into their business and develop products and services to meet social needs.

with the following programme support

 

1. Bespoke Learning Curriculum

Icon

Participating organisations will go through a rigorous learning curriculum on topics in the following areas:

  • Understanding the Social Enterprise Model and Landscape
  • Development of New Products and Services
  • Facilitating Change Management

2. Experiential Learning Journeys & Peer Sharing

Icon

Through exchanges between SSA and SME participants, participants will get to learn from each other and attend participant-led learning journeys to understand firsthand how other organisations deliver business and social value through their operations.

 
 

3. Mentoring

Each participating organisation will be paired up with a raiSE Fellow/Mentor with corporate and/or social impact expertise throughout the programme to guide them in piloting their social enterprise initiatives.

4. Seed Funding

Icon

Participating organisations will receive seed funding of $30,000 to pilot their social enterprise initiatives and to validate their business and social impact.

 



 

Timeline

  • 26 Nov 2021 (2359hrs): Application Deadline
  • 2nd & 3rd week of Dec 2021: Interviews with evaluation panel
  • Dec 2021 - Jun 2022: 6-month programme



Programme Fees & Seed Funding

Upon qualifications, each organisation is required to pay $5,000 programme participation fee. Over the course of the 6 months programme, your initiative will be funded by up to $30,000 in accordance with the agreed milestones to pilot your SE initiatives and to validate your business and social impact.

 

 
 

Selection Criteria

Teams would be assessed based on the following criteria:

1. Readiness for change

  • The organisation is ready to embark on change management within the organisation to implement the SE initiative

2. Feasibility, Desirability, and Viability of Proposed Idea

  • The proposed SE idea is feasible, desirable and viable in terms of business sustainability and meeting the identified social needs

3. Team credentials

  • The team has the relevant skill sets and experience required to execute the proposed solution
  • The team is committed to the success of the initiative
